Transcript: Meditation to Start Your Day with Love and Joy
This is a meditation episode of The Feel Good Factor Podcast. I’m Susmitha Veganosaurus, and I’m so glad you could join me here today.
The Start Your Day With Love And Joy Meditation can be done at any time in the morning. Maybe as a part of your morning ritual, or even as soon as you wake up, just sit up in bed and do the meditation.
The meditation involves a little bit of gentle stretching and movement, which you can do while you’re seated. And then we go into affirmations and good feelings, to start your day with love and joy. Enjoy!
Good morning, darling! It’s time to wake up now, and ease into your day
Take a deep breath in, and let it out with a whistle.
One more time, breathe in deeply, and… phewwwwww
Now allow your breath to become normal, to go in and out at its own pace.
Let’s start moving your body slowly and gently
Clench and unclench your fingers, your palms. Slowly and gently. Now wiggle your toes. Stretch your feet, your legs. Let the stretch move upwards, stretch your back and your arms. Open your arms wide and stretch.
Haaahhhh Release.
Now move your head from side to side, up and down. Gently rotate your head, clockwise and anti clockwise. Now move your shoulders, gently rotating them first to the front, then to the back.
Wow it’s another beautiful day, and you’re so lucky to be alive and experiencing it. Get excited for all the wonderful, delightful surprises that are coming your way today.
Now repeat these affirmations after me
- Today, I am a gentle, loving person
- I am kind to myself and others
- I send forth magic fairy dust into the rest of my day
- And I really look forward to going into my day and experiencing it
- All is well today
- I am open to receiving joy and fulfilment
- I am filled with purpose and excitement
- I look forward to today
- Today is a brand new start, a fresh new chapter in my life
- I completely let go and release everything that happened yesterday
- The past does not belong here with me right now
- I am the creator of my beautiful day today
- I am the divine channel of the universe’s powerful energy of love
- I am connected to my highest self at all times
- I can always hear my wise inner voice with perfect clarity
- Today is a beautiful day
- All is well with the world
- And I look forward to starting my day, and spreading love and light wherever I go today
