Simple Grounding Visualisation Meditation – Episode 140

Too many things to do? Feeling like you’re all over the place? Don’t know which direction to head in? Pause. Take a few minutes to ground yourself and connect to the calming energy of mother earth.

This short meditation is easy to do, and all it needs is a few minutes. The audio has a gentle flowing stream in the background to help you relax as I guide you to sit on the bank of a flowing stream and connect to the heart of mother earth.

The meditation works great for anytime of the day. Do it in the morning, just before you get out of bed. In the middle of a busy day, to steady yourself into the present moment. Or wind down at the end of the day and fall into a safe, protected asleep.

Simple Grounding Visualisation Meditation Script

Hi, welcome to a meditation episode of the Feel Good Factor. If you like this meditation, then sign up for my free newsletter, The Feel Good Tribe. You’ll get updated about my latest meditations.

Take a deep breath in. As you breathe out, picture yourself sitting on the bank of a flowing stream. You’re sitting very comfortably, cross legged on the floor. The soft moist earth below you.

The soil feels fresh and fertile and full of life. Breathe it in and smell the freshness. The wonderful calming smell of water on the earth.

Now as you feel more and more comfortable, picture roots growing out of you, from under you

Slowly at first, and then faster and faster, larger and larger, spreading out. So smoothly, so steadily and easily. Going down and down. Right to the heart of Mother Earth.

There’s a golden ball of light there, your roots go and wrap themselves like a hug around the golden ball.

Feel the love, the protection of the earth coming up from the roots, higher and higher, and entering you

As this beautiful energy of love and grounding enters you, feel the warmth spreading from your legs, higher and higher and higher.

It reaches your heart, flowing down your hands and your fingertips. Back up again, higher and higher, to your head.

Out through the crown of your head, and showering all around you, in warm, sparkling golden light.

Know that you are grounded, present, and protected

Feel the calmness flooding you, encompassing you. Breathe it in and out.

Now you have a deep knowing in your heart that you’re safe, protected, peaceful and powerful.

Whenever you’re ready, take a deep breath in, and as you breathe out, flutter your eyelids open. Take this beautiful energy of power and grounding with you through the rest of your day.
